AUGUST SESSION: School Anxiety & Avoidance
*Parent/Caregiver Only

Parenting today’s children takes immense courage! School anxiety and avoidance is a complex issue that can be challenging for both parents and children. This workshop aims to equip parents with the necessary tools and support to champion their children's success in school.
In this workshop, participants will learn to:

Understand the underlying causes of school anxiety and avoidance

Communicate effectively with their children regarding school-related concerns

Develop a structured plan for reintegration into the school environment

Help manage anxiety and other emotions associated with school anxiety and refusal
-
Seek support from educators, support staff, and community resources
This workshop is offered in-person. For those who cannot attend in-person, a live virtual option will be available.
